RENTALS
Founded in 2018 by artist Emily Mast, Mast on Fig is a space for the development and communal sharing of experiential events and art works. It is located in a brick storefront at 4030 N Figueroa Street in the Cypress Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Artists, dancers, actors, choreographers, musicians, writers and more are invited to rent the space and work “in residence” for however long they need. Renters can store their props, sets & equipment in the space if they rent by the week.
Mast on Fig is a shared space. Emily’s studio is located in the front room of Mast on Fig. Renters share an entrance, bathroom and sink with her. That said, Emily respects renters’ privacy and keeps disturbances to a minimum.
The back space is available for rent on a daily or weekly basis. It is approximately 600 square feet, ground floor, with high speed internet, portable heaters, AC, fans, portable AUX speaker, mini fridge, kettle, espresso machine, slop sink, bathroom, table & 30 folding chairs. There’s plenty of natural light from large front windows & a skylight.
Mast on Fig is walking distance from the Metro Gold Line (Southwest Museum Metro Station & Heritage Square Metro Station) and is situated directly in front of the 81 Figueroa / Ave 41 Bus Stop. Free street parking.
