Joe Seely has been making masks and puppets for years  and recently started taking photographs of them. The puppets, dolls and masks are artifacts of the human impulse to examine itself. Inhabit a mask or let one inhabit you. Let a figure show you a story or play out one of your stories. Bring a favorite doll or a mask if you have one. Wear a favorite costume if you have one — or come as you are. The Alchemists used to make figures in an effort to understand God so this could get revelatory. Let’s play!
