BASIL GARDEN / 2006 / MEXICAN SWEET BASIL SEEDS & WINDOW BOXES / VARIABLE DIMENSIONS

I planted Mexican basil seeds in the Skowhegan Auction Houseπs window boxes in downtown Skowhegan, Maine. Steve Leakos, the owner of the building where my basil plants resided all summer, cheerfully agreed to water the plants every day. At the end of the summer I made him a pasta pesto picnic and used our basil as a garnish for the pasta.
